Sara is the owner and operator of ARC at Home Physiotherapy. Sara graduated from La Trobe University with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy with Honours in 2004. Since graduating she has worked in rehabilitation both in an in-patient and community setting.
When working in in-patients she worked across the areas of general rehabilitation, neurological rehabilitation including post stroke and spinal cord injuries, orthopaedic rehabilitation including post surgical, amputee and post fracture and and in the area of aged care including slow stream rehabilitation and transitional care.
Since 2006 Sara has worked in community rehabilitation providing rehabilitation in people’s homes post injury or disease. She has been working in the area of neurological community rehabilitation since 2010 and this is an area she is passionate about.
Sara has also worked in hydrotherapy since 2004 both with in-patients and community patients and enjoys the benefits aquatic physiotherapy offers and how it can complement land therapy and help people get stronger, more mobile with less pain.
